Want to get to know The Potential Center? Here’s a little something about the TPC “personality”:
The Potential Center Mission is to help people who want to be more productive and achieve their potential or fulfill their legacy, through de-cluttering and organizing.
The Potential Center Vision is that people who feel overwhelmed, rudderless or unfocused experience unexpected benefits from de-cluttering and organizing.
The guiding principles of The Potential Center are:
- That organizing is a caring profession, like nursing
- To be a good teacher, coach and cheerleader
- That good project management is the key to success
The Potential Center values working in partnership with individuals to make lasting improvements in their living and working environment and, consequently, to their life.
“Being organized helped me achieve two of the most important goals of my life: First, creating a business to help others maximize their potential by being organized and productive. Second, having time and energy to focus on finding a romantic partner, which netted me the love of my life. How cool is that?!”
Ellia has always enjoyed helping people solve problems and be more productive. In fact, what sets her apart from other organizers is her ability to train clients to be problem-solvers.
Ellia was previously a corporate training coach and management consultant, specializing in problem-solving and innovation. She has also worked extensively in nonprofits, managing hundreds of fundraising and marketing projects.
In her own life, Ellia has moved numerous times (including three international moves) as an adult. Her home is definitely her castle, which is why she gets settled in quickly – her friends have been amazed that her home is consistently welcoming and organized within a month after moving. In addition, Ellia has been working from home, in close quarters, for more than 15 years without being overrun by paper.
Ellia is an active member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO), National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), and Business Among Moms (BAM).
Ellia is available for public speaking gigs – useful tips and information guaranteed! Drawing on both her organizing and corporate training experience, Ellia is an engaging speaker on de-cluttering, organizing and productivity, with the aim of making lasting improvements in one’s personal and professional life.
